Invisibility Study
As the U.S. population has diversified over the last decade, the number of racial and ethnic (R/E) minority students in higher education has also increased. However, despite the influx of RE minority students, the needs of R/E minority students, particularly their needs regarding career advancement, has gone understudied and underserved. We aim to explore the impact of microaggressions have on R/E minority students’ experiences of invisibility and their perception of academic and vocational success.
